This quote made me smile because I just realized that Cristiano Ronaldo was still a “mommy boy” at his 23. Why? Because if his main goal was to be closer to his family, and if his love for them is genuine, I bet he would never have left Europe to play in Saudi Arabia.
You could say that in some interviews he mentioned that his mom is with him in Saudi Arabia, but let’s be honest: the climate in Saudi Arabia is much harsher than in Great Britain, and European mentality is still a key factor in this situation.
He is still the GOAT and the man who changed not only football as a game, but also the way players prepare for it through training.
